THE POWERPUFF GIRLS (2016 REBOOT) SPOILERS & TALKBACK

Yeah I actually saw the episode myself on iTunes and...it's pretty much crap just as many have expected for it to be.

I actually saw the first 3 episodes and liked them.
I think the "SO ONCE AGAIN THE DAY IS SAVED" thing is going to be at every episode B since I think this show is doing an A and B thing, but eh who knows.
I hate Princess's voice, and Professor barely being in there, but I love this show... so much...
They seem so much older than 5 year olds, its like they're in first or second grade now... idk
But this is a really good show and its a lot better than some of the shows we've been seeing lately, we just need a moving plot now and this show is Steven Universe good.

Wait, first 3 episodes? How did you get access to and watch the first three episodes of the PPG reboot if CN only premiered the first episode?

Edit: Oh I think I found out how. You saw the first 3 episodes on KissCartoon or something of the likes, right?

Yeah, I just went and watched the two other episodes and it's not Steven Universe good. Like with the premiere episode, the other two episodes are pretty much crap. If you like them, that's fine. I don't and I'm noticing plenty of comments from other viewers that don't like the PPG reboot as well. There's a lot of flaws with these episodes here that really screwed them over and if this persists throughout the rest of the series, it's not going to go well for the PPG reboot and CN themselves.

To be honest I liked Episode 2 more than the others, Episode 3 was probably worst, it felt super bland and rushed.

Oh ok, I misread your last sentence. My bad. I agree with episode 3 and yeah, I consider episode 2 the best out of the three, (possibly because it has a more well established villain) even though I still don't think it's good enough. It's more average. The giant monster and the girls using their roller skates to cut up the INDESTRUCTIBLE crystal trapping Blossom and Bubbles is what bothers me the most. The story is also one that we've seen before many times already as well.

Idk about you guys but the first episode is really funny so far!

Also, that joke you listed wasn't even funny. It just further shows how less threatening the villains are in the reboot; especially when compared to the original show. If the people of Townsville don't give a crap about some some very small lumberjack guy threatening their lives with a giant wooden robot, then why should the viewers give a crap?

I have 18 years old and you believe i give a shit what you say about this show? No, because i will watch the show by myself and see if is good or bad, like i did with AF/UA that were really bad and they were created thinking in boys of 17 years old that is sad.

By the way the show isnt great until now, but is really interesting how CN with this new reboots is trying to put such more technology into the series. In Ben 10 we now we will get Gwen using a smartphone, here is clear with how they use this new Youtube trend to make episodes around it.

Yes, the comedy feels force a little bit, because even if in the original series Bubble always lived things like this all the times fighting againts his two "sisters" for any kind of stuff, here they put it a little bit extreme.

There is one thing about the PPG reboot that very much holds it back the most though and that the fact that Craig McCracken himself isn't involved with the reboot. Craig McCracken created the original PPG show. He understands the series more than anyone else here. He made the series so special due to his direct involvement with it. After McCracken left half way through the seasons, the original PPG show went through seasonal rot and did significantly degrade in quality because of this. McCracken no longer being involved with the series really showed just how much the PPG series depended on him and this definitely shows in the reboot as well. Three episodes and already things are starting to fall apart with the PPG reboot. Already this reboot is facing so many problems that's holding it back greatly just because the very creator isn't involved with the reboot. Already the reboot is suffering and many people knew that this was going to happen because of this very fact.

Oh c'mon, sometimes a villain is comic relief. He's not (yet at least) supposed to be a threat. He was supposed to be a punchingbag for Buttercup...because the story was focused on her, not the bearded child. (then again, his motivation is common amongst some real-life extremists that believe men are pussified and decadent...the fact that the men would rather be crushed than fight just proves his point, also, they knew the PPG were there)

Who says I hate the PPG reboot? Who says I'm stalking this thread? I just don't like this reboot series and I'm freely expressing and giving my opinion on the reboot and explaining as to why I have this opinion. I'm not a fan of the original PPG but I did like watching it when I was a kid. This isn't some hate message so quit thinking of this and every other negative opinion as such. I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing on a forum board: participate in the discussions and give my opinions. How about you quit falling into the trap of considering and pointing out negative opinions as hate as if you're trying to make them seem irrelevant.

And yeah, of course I do stuff that I like to do and find enjoyment out of such as watching movies and tv shows, playing video games, and, again, participating in forums and discussions on series/shows that I do like and freely expressing my opinions on. I am a fan of the original Powerpuff Girl tv show, i watch everysingle episode and even the movie, i go to study filmaking because Craig Mccracken and Genndy Tartakovsky were a huge inspiration for me and i can say you something:

"I really dont care", i just watch this shows without any kind expectations or even thinking they are bad or they are good. Because when i was a kid i never say this show is bad or this show is good, i only find something interesting and something boring.

That is the reason why i can watch Clarence, Steven Universe or Adventure Time because for a while i find something interesting in them, in all the years of CN i only have find 4 or 3 shows who are so boring, so stupid  or they make zero sense that i dont find anything interesting in them:

"My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Squirrel Boy, Camp Lazlo, Ben 10: Alien Force, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Generator Rex, Teen Titans Go! , Uncle Grandpa".

That is my personal opinion, "i really dont care" what the hell you are going to say but for me Alien Force, Ultimate Alien and Generator Rex were really boring.

If you know or understand something about the Powerpuff Girls "Tactical Ochoa" this show make fun of his villains, always did and always will. For god sake "Fuzzy Lumpkins" was a living satirical joke to all the "peasants" out there. "Him" is a critique to the "androgynous", "Princess Morbucks" is a critique to the "regular rich girl who always have everything she wants but doesnt deserve". "Mojo Mojo" is a "mad scientist" and even "Medusa" is a female fatal.

For god sake, all the villains of the Powerpuff Girls villains are critiques and living satirical jokes of real problems and issues in the real world.

The Powerpuff Girls are fun characters, watch again the original series, yes maybe this series isnt the best out there, but isnt boring, is pretty interesting to watch and see how at less they understand a little bit the characters.

And even "Mccracken" alredy say he had saw what they did for this series and he was ok with it. He aproves in some sense what this series did with his characters.

With all the cheesy reviews, and the last... 14 episodes now?
I'm almost there to giving up on this show, the voice actors and bring backs are nice, but they better improve in order to keep people going. Like proper fight scenes, to stop pushing modern reality into this show, and to focus more on being a show on its own instead of copy with reused animation styles morphed into one.
The staff also confirmed writers for this show are temporary ones, not official ones. So... yeah... that happened...

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with the PPG reboot. 14 episodes and I'm done. CN and the PPG reboot staff screwed up badly here. The PPG reboot doesn't help much on me and other people's faith on the Ben 10 reboot either.

Honestly, Ben 10 is not close to being in this position, just yet. We still haven't seen a trailer, and MOA confirmed there's enough action in this show. (and hopefully a main villain/plot confirmed.)
But I've taken a look at a lot of older shows being Rebooted.
People are going back to basics with stuff we've never really paid attention to, like Porky Pig was only fat during the 1930s version of Looney Tunes, now he is in Wabbit. Basically anything that gets Rebooted now, goes back to preproduction and keeps most of the stuff, uses the stuff that wasn't used in the original, and tries to be new, while keeping the later stuff or create new content. It's weird honestly, but that's what I'm noticing.

Maybe. I see most reboots nowadays being blatant and terrible cash grabs and/or just having a really bad identity crisis, such as the PPG reboot.

Edit: And it's such a shame too because reboots do bring a lot of great potential and opportunities if used correctly and there are some exceptions that proves this.

Oh yeah. Tara Strong voices Raven in Teen Titans Go!. For some reason I have this feeling that the PPG and TTG crossover is going to get a little interesting but that's probably just me.
