How can someone who hasn't seen the entire series, be able to write a new one? So yeah, he is trying to get rid of UAF because he hasn't seen it.

I think he should have finished watching the entire series before doing anything. It's not necessarily required at all but it really helps...
I hope he's well-versed with most of the Ben 10 universe at the very least.

My bad, I shouldn't have used write. But he does have some influence, and is looking to make big changes.

lo that's the same thing I said about Scooby Doo Mysteries Inc, being a long time scooby fan

I assume he's trying too get rid of AF/UA because he wasn't instantly engaged, think about it he only mentioned the humor elements as one of the few enjoyable elements and that's easily surface entertainment but when it comes too things like Kevin's nuanced character arc in UA well... it requires patience, understanding the clues and resonating with the characters development from AF and continuing heritage arcs , instant gratification that series aint

Derrick doesn't write episodes. He's just the Art Director.

Still, I think most of it is up to the main writers, then there's the producers, CN, etc. so he's not all to blame (except for the designs and art )

It actually goes like CN,main writers,producers etc. at least with OV...
I say that because as Derrick seems to say,CN had quite a rich list of requests that simplified reads as "dumb it out down,fun it up".

Diamondhead looks fine, except for the small waist. I like that he reminds me of Ben 10,000 Diamondhead.

To me, he looks like a mix of Ball Weevil and the Queen.

As someone who thought the earlier preview they showed looked terrible with the ugly color palette but had great animation, this one wasn't half bad then again it was mainly because of the blue background didn't look awful, HD clarity and fast animation from Bloxx was what impressed me.

Kickin Hawk look like another super strength alien which let me to believe that his name was based on kicking ass.

loving the colors and specialty the background.

Better than I thought. I'm actually liking a few things. If Derrick just stopped trying to force those retconns, I would be 100% for Omniverse. I'm 50/50 on it so far.

I'm beginning to like it, I don't love it completely yet but I'm at the point where I don't automatically reject new designs just because they're new.

so i am guessing Malware is the red Galvanic Mechamorph

The Cool and New blog says that Young Ben is going to appear in flashbacks, fighting Malware.

before Ben transformed into Clockwork any one noticed the yellow electricity on the electric cables? could it be a megawatt that Ben is following?
